Koenigsegg is also exhibiting a special Agera RS in Geneva

Most of the attention at the Geneva booth of the Swedish car manufacturer Koenisegg is focused on the Regera hypersport , which can easily turn into an unidentifiable moving object. However, this is not a novelty of this small-batch manufacturer. The Agera RS , equipped with features from the One:1 model, costs only a fraction.

Aerodynamics was primarily inspired by the world's first megasport . New is the front splitter with optional venturi flap, side wings of the front bumper, more prominently shaped sill extensions, redesigned air intakes in front of the rear wheels and an active rear spoiler . The front hood with new air intakes, roof intake or active suspension will cost extra money. And that's not even counting the options for individualizing the car itself or comfort equipment, including a diamond key, an aerodynamic roof box , parking sensors with a reversing camera, winter tires or an original luggage set. But back to the aerodynamics changes, which are not an end in themselves. At 250 km/h, the coupe generates a downforce of up to 450 kg !

You will also find several changes under the hood, where the five-liter eight-cylinder twinturbo now produces 1,177 horsepower when using regular gasoline. In some states you can use E85 fuel, then the performance will be equal to the One:1 model. In addition, compared to the Agera S or R, the RS is lighter and the rev limiter has been moved, but the automaker was not more specific. Like the Regera, the Agera RS also has worldwide road homologation, but 10 of the 25 units produced are reserved.
