Bentley unveils limited edition Mulsanne Birkin

Porsche Inter Auto CZ , which is the official Bentley sales and service point in the Czech Republic, presents the new limited edition Mulsanne Birkin . The Bentley Prague sales team is available to anyone interested in this model.

The inspiration for these models was Sir Henry "Tiger" Tim Birkin , the legendary Bentley Boy who drove and raced in Europe in the 1920s and 1930s. The cars in this edition are characterized by many unique styling details, which make them represent the best of the British luxury car tradition in an extremely exciting form.

The limited edition will be produced in the number of 22 cars and will be available in the following three colors: white Ghost White , exciting purple Damson and in a two-tone design combining blue color Fountain Blue and dark blue Dark Sapphire. It is a modern interpretation of the traditional two-tone paintwork of Bentley models.

Birkin models are identified by plaques with a serial number on the door sills, unique 21-inch wheels , the design of which evokes the wheels used on the Mulsanne concept, the effective, three-dimensional flying B symbol embossed on the headrests, or inlays on the wooden inlays in the front and on the rear picnic tables. All three color versions also include a unique, custom-made luggage set , which is handcrafted, individually numbered and coordinated with the interior of each car.

For the limited edition Mulsanne Birkin , elements from a wide range of additional equipment were used, the aim of which is to make traveling even more enjoyable. Specific driving experiences are provided by the Mulliner Driving Specification equipment, which also includes a specially set sports mode . Other components of this equipment include diamond pattern stitching on the seat and door upholstery with leather stitching, leather is also used for the ceiling upholstery and special treatment is applied to selected metal parts of the interior. All these elements in the interior create an exceptional atmosphere.

For rear seat passengers, the Bentley Mulsanne Birkin has plenty of space, as well as the Entertainment Specification entertainment system, which can turn the rear into a comfortable place to work or relax on the go. Each limited edition car is equipped with a pair of 8-inch color LCD screens installed in the back of the front headrests, a DVD player, a Wi-Fi hotspot , Naim premium audio equipment and iPads integrated into picnic tables, handcrafted from solid wood.

Tribute to Tim Birkin

The muse for the limited edition Mulsanne is Sir Henry Ralph Stanley "Tim" Birkin , who was not only a racer but also a true icon of his time, perfectly embodying the idea of a British racer and gentleman. The Mulsanne Birkin cars were born from the idea of what a Bentley car would look like that a Birkin would choose today. The combination of extraordinary performance and a luxurious, hand-crafted interior of the Bentley Mulsanne is the embodiment of Birkin 's vision of automotive royalty. The limited edition Mulsanne Birkin with unique design elements and extensive equipment is an automotive tribute to the visionary who most influenced the Bentley brand.

Birkin bought his first Bentley purely for the love of motoring. However, as time went on, he became increasingly close to the Bentley brand, both on the road and in the world of motor racing. The collaboration culminated in 1928, when Birkin played a major role in the development of the famous Blower Bentley . Birkin saw the need to increase the power of Bentley 's 4.5 liter engine to make it more competitive on the racetrack. The shift from 130 to 242 hp was ensured by the use of a supercharger .

Birkin convinced the company's owner, Woolf Barnat , as well as his sponsor, Dorothy Paget , to support the production of 50 cars . This was the only way to enter the Le Mans endurance race. It was these cars, which he drove in a completely fearless style, that made Birkin the most famous.
