Weber F1 with a power of 1200 hp – Veyron by the throat

The developers of the two famous F1 teams Sauber and BMW decided to create their own super sports car, which has the task of finally displacing the fastest mass-produced car from the first place. You definitely know him. It's called the Bugatti Veyron.

A few days ago, a completely unique car called the Weber F1 FasterOne was introduced, which according to official information will start to be produced at the beginning of April. The Weber F1 is characterized by a rather atypical design. Its dimensions are 4500 mm in length, 2040 mm in width and the height is equal to 1150 mm. It looks more like a roofed single-seater F1 than a road car. However, the main dominant feature of this supersport will be the performance, which is said to reach the limit of 1200 horses!

The employees of Sauber and BMW have taken care of the development and the Weber F1 should overcome the magic barrier of 400 km/h without the slightest difficulty. However, other data are also famous, mainly the acceleration of the car. The coupé accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and from 0-200 km/h in 6.6 seconds. Who is interested in acceleration from 0-300 km/h, it takes place in a very respectable 16.2 seconds. This is just 1.6 seconds slower than the time of the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport .

Under the hood you will find a turbocharged V10 engine with a volume of 5.6 liters, which is boosted by two turbochargers. The output is the already mentioned 1200 horsepower (883 kW) at 7000 revolutions per minute, the torque is 1250 Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels through a semi-automatic six-speed gearbox.

With the weight of the car, which is only 1250 kg, it is clear that many supercars will have a lot of trouble with this newcomer. Sporty alloy wheels with 285/25 front and 325/25 rear tires take care of the power transmission on the road. Drilled brake discs and an aerodynamic retractable brake in the style of the phenomenal Bugatti Veyron are responsible for stopping the car safely.
