The classic Wartburg 353 from East Germany had a number of happy owners in its time. You might be smirking, because Mototechna customers didn't have as much choice as visitors to Western European showrooms, but then again, the body version of the station wagon aroused a lot of envious looks in the cottage colony. Today, however, you can buy a classic sedan 353W from 1976 for a beautiful 16,000 crowns. Its two-stroke engine has an output of 42 kW. Fully roadworthy, but with a few cosmetic blemishes and a large supply of spares , it looks like a good investment for the budding veteran. More information at Veterans on Truc!
