Now they decided to slightly improve the SLS AMG convertible. To begin with, they installed a 6.2-liter compressor and modified airbox on the V8, thus achieving 702 HP and torque increased to 850 Nm. The sprint from rest to a hundred kilometers will take place in 3.6 seconds, and after changing the tires to high-speed tires and adjusting the control unit, the SLS AMG Roadster can reach 330 km/h.
Such performance required more efficient cooling of the water circuit and also automatic transmission oil. High-performance brakes with discs with a diameter of 405 mm take care of safe stopping. There are two exhaust systems to choose from – both stainless steel. However, one contains a sports catalytic converter and the other has an exhaust system , which ensures that you do not scare the pensioners at the crossing with the thunder of the exhaust when you slowly crawl through the city on a quarter throttle.
Power transmission to the road is ensured by tires measuring 265/30 R20 at the front and 315/25 R20 at the rear, which are seconded by modified shock absorbers with the AMG Ride Control function for smooth passing over speed bumps. This system allows adjusting the ground clearance of the front by 20-45mm.
Changes to the exterior affected the front bumper, where a decent lollipop found its place, and a pressure wing traveled to the rear of the trunk lid. The disc ventilation holes were not forgotten either. Everything is made of carbon fiber. Inside the car, a new sports steering wheel has found its place, and many interior panels can be made of carbon, aluminum, wood, or they can be trimmed with high-quality leather if you wish. The pearl at the end is the new tachometer calibrated up to a speed of 400 km/h.
