From the end of 2013, spectacular celebrations broke out for the British car manufacturer Aston Martin , as it was exactly 100 years since its foundation. In this honor, the management of the brand decided to launch the most powerful variant on the market, labeled Aston Martin Rapide S.
The Aston Martin Rapide S belongs to the group of fast sports limousines, which includes, for example, the Porsche Panamera or the Maserati Quattroporte . The limited edition Rapide S is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine. It is newly mounted 19 mm lower than the regular Rapide and provides 410 kW of power and 620 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and can continue up to a maximum speed of 306 km/h.
However, the changes did not only take place under the hood. The Aston Martin Rapide S received an improved driving stability system and an adaptive ADS suspension with Normal, Sport and Track modes. The brake system has also been strengthened with ceramic-carbon discs measuring 398 mm at the front and 360 mm at the rear.
The body of the car can be equipped with the Carbon Exterior Pack at the customer's request, which includes a front splitter, a sports diffuser, aerodynamic covers for the rear-view mirrors and darker fillings for the rear lamps. The interior features black piano wood trim and perforated black and red leather on the seats.
From the outside, you can recognize the new Aston Martin Rapide S by the innovative radiator grille, enlarged wing on the trunk lid and 20" alloy wheels shod with Bridgestone Potenza tires . Of course, there is a red marking on the back of the car.
