The second model from the Bugatti Legends special edition

The Bugatti Legends series , which celebrated its debut in July at Pebble Beach, has received another member. After the Veyron Grand Sport, dedicated Jean-Pierre Wimille , a convertible will be shown in Frankfurt, referring to Jean Bugatti .

He was not only the son of the founder of the brand, but above all he was behind the creation of the legendary Type 57SC Atlantic coupe . One piece in black even later became his personal car. Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean Bugatti is meant to commemorate both.

You can see the reference to the Type 57SC Atlantic right away on the body, which is made of black carbon and then sprayed all over in transparent paint. For the first time in Bugatti's history, platinum has been used in the production of a Veyron – specifically, it can be found on the rear EB logo and the "horseshoe" of the front grille. Jean Bugatti's signature was laser-engraved on the tank cap.

The interior, in a combination of brown and beige leather , is again reminiscent of the Type 57SC Atlantic. Between the seats and on the door panels there is an embroidered outline of the body of the already mentioned coupe, the gear lever is made of rosewood.

The same eight-liter W16 with a power of 1,200 hp and a torque of 1,500 Nm still reigns under the hood. The Grand Sport reaches 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and accelerates to 408.84 km/h, the highest speed ever achieved by a production convertible.

Only 3 pieces will be produced, each of which will cost 2.28 million euros (approx. 58,744,000 CZK).
