Polestar modified the Volvo V60

The Volvo 850 BTCC is still among the legends of motorsport, as it is one of the few (if not the only station wagon ) that has ever participated in circuit races. After many years, the Polestar company , responsible for the original 850, produced a kind of spiritual successor in the form of a properly modified Volvo V60 .

This follows in the footsteps of the S60 sedan, which Polestar introduced already this summer. It is not surprising that under the hood there is a three-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 350 hp and a torque of 500 Nm. The engine is equipped with a Borg Warner twin-scroll turbocharger and a modified intercooler, the power is transmitted to all wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters under the steering wheel.

The 1822 kg V60 Polestar reaches 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, 200 km/h in 17.7 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h. The chassis received Öhlins dampers and stiffer springs compared to the V60 R-Design, safe stopping is ensured by 371x32mm front and 302x22mm Brembo disc brakes hidden behind twenty-inch ET53 wheels with 245/35 R20 tires.
