Subaru introduced a new edition of the BRZ coupe

Let's not lie, Toyobaru (Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ) is here primarily to entertain its customers . However, not everyone desires pure driving enthusiasm and demands a bit of "pampering" from their car. Perhaps that is why Subaru will start selling the BRZ Premium Sport Edition in the domestic market.

The new version of the sports coupe is based on the study of the same name, which was presented at the beginning of the year at the tuning exhibition in Tokyo. Compared to it, some aerodynamic parts have disappeared, but the stylish seventeen-inch wheels with the STI logo have remained. The Japanese also get black mirror covers, a pair of exhaust tips and a choice of several body colors.

The interior will be strictly two-tone (light brown and black) and mostly upholstered in leather . This can be found on the sports seats, the steering wheel or in the door panels. On the contrary, the upper part of the dashboard is covered with Alcantara . The aluminum pedals with the STI logo, the carbon decor on the center console or the red engine start button, also with the Subaru Tecnica International logo, will also catch your eye.

There were no changes under the hood – the BRZ Premium Sport Edition will have to make do with the classic 200-horsepower two-liter Boxer in combination with a six-speed manual or an equally graduated automatic. The "luxury" BRZ will be on sale only in Japan at a base price of ¥3,034,500 (approx. CZK 580,000).
