There will be a smaller Panamera, in 2017!

Porsche is planning a massive model expansion , which includes up to four brand new models introduced by 2018! One such car will also be a small Panamera labeled Pajun !

According to a source from the British Autocar , Pajun finally got the green light after a year of development, and we can look forward to the smallest and quite possibly the cheapest Porsche ! The size of the Pajun should fit into the upper middle class , where it wants to threaten mainly premium competitors from Audi, BMW and Mercedes .

The non-traditional, five-door body and the design derived from the Panamera Sport Turismo concept from this year's Paris Motor Show help him in this. But don't be fooled, the Pajun will not be a typical hatchback like the Opel Signum was. "Baby Panamera" will get similar shapes to its bigger sister!

In addition to the "hatchback", Autocar's source also expects station wagon and coupe variants. Only six-cylinder engines should appear under the hood. It will probably be three units – a diesel 3.0 V6 TDI (260 and 320 hp), a 3.0 V6 gasoline (320 and 420 hp) and an unspecified 520 hp twin-turbo gasoline engine .

Pajun is expected to arrive sometime between 2016 and 2017 . Porsche still has a long downward development path ahead of it.
