Sebastian Vettel – Director of Performance pro Infiniti

At the 2013 New York International Auto Show, Infiniti announced the appointment of Sebastian Vettel, three-time Formula 1 World Champion and Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver, to the position of Director of Performance .

Vettel was involved in the development of the new Infiniti Q50 model from the very beginning. He also played a significant role in the development of the Infiniti FX Vettel Edition SUV , which we had the opportunity to test in December. He spent a lot of time with Infiniti engineers in Japan, providing feedback on the chassis dynamics, performance and handling of the model. Along with Infiniti Red Bull Racing team test driver Sebastien Buemi, he was involved in prototype testing in Japan, at the Nürburgring in Germany, as well as during F1 pre-season testing at the Catalunya circuit in Spain.

"I am very happy that my collaboration with Infiniti has expanded and I can now be of assistance in the field of performance from the position of Director of Performance of the automaker," said Sebastian Vettel. “Helping to develop the Infiniti Q50 was something new for me, but I took it on with the same commitment as when I get into my car. I look forward to future cooperation in the development of other models," he added.
