Rolls-Royce demonstrates the possibility of individualization

If you have enough money, you can choose practically anything in the individualization department of Rolls-Royce and everything is fulfilled in advance. However, it is a bit of a shame for us mere mortals that unique custom cars often remain behind the closed doors of private collections. Perhaps that is also why the British manufacturer decided to show the unique Phantom Serenity , apparently the most luxurious Rolls-Royce of at least the 21st century.

The only thing unique on the outside is the white Mother of Pearl paint , which was manually polished for 12 hours and according to the press release, it is the most expensive paint in the history of the car manufacturer. Sure, there's still some tree motifs and polished chrome wheels, but it's certainly a weak brew compared to the interior.

The panels upholstered in Chinese Suzhou silk are hand-painted with squirrel hair brushes . The paintings feature the motif of blossoming tree branches, with not a single branch having a copy in the cabin! One silk panel took 600 hours to handcraft, but traveling through your own private garden must be incredibly soothing. After all, the name Serenity actually means calm in translation. Silk is complemented by smoky cherry wood , again with the motif of blossoming branches, and bamboo. In the luggage compartment, which is upholstered in Arctic white leather, you will find a pair of parasols again with a branch motif. Both also have a leather handle.
