Rare cars from the Lithuanian collection were for sale

Former Lithuanian racer, now politician Stasys Brundza sold almost a hundred cars and motorcycles from his collection. According to him, the reason for the sale is the high cost of the exhibition hall and also the fact that he has not been able to find suitable spaces for the exhibits recently.

Previously, Brundza exhibited his collection at the LITEXPO exhibition center in Vilnius . In order to pay the rent here, he was forced to sell the rarest piece of his collection – a 1937 Horch car for 300,000 euros.

Among the cars that went up for auction in Holland on Saturday are, for example, a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II from 1961 or an extended version of the Aston Martin Lagonda Tickford from 1983, of which there are only four in the world. The largest collection of Cadillac cars in Europe, consisting of 39 exhibits, will also be offered for sale. The oldest of them, the Cadillac Model B , was produced in 1904 and its price is estimated at 60 to 75 thousand euros. The Daimler DS420 Limousine from 1984 has an interesting history, as the British Queen Elizabeth , Princess Diana and the then Prime Minister of Great Britain Margaret Thatcher rode in it during their visit to Germany.
