Now, the German media has brought us information about a concept being prepared for the Beijing Motor Show , held in April 2014. Specifically, it is an off-road version of the Porsche 911 , which will retain the Safari designation from the glory days of the rally sport. Alongside it, the original version of the Porsche 911 SC Safari from 1978 will be exhibited (photo in the gallery). It will be a spectacular show with everything.
The car company will only place it on the market in 2016, where it expects increased interest mainly from countries such as South America, Russia, China and the Middle East, mainly due to the deteriorated quality of the roads in these areas. More detailed information about this news is not yet available, but we can still tell you that the Porsche 911 Safari concept will be available in a limited series, based on the Carrera 4S model with all-wheel drive. We will not forget the classic tin covers of the chassis , proper off-road tires and a raised chassis .
