The next Veyron will get a hybrid drive

The last few years in the category of super sports clearly belong to hybrids , starting with the LaFerrari and ending with the Porsche 918 Spyder. But Bugatti, the long-time ruler of this category, is not resting on its laurels and will launch a successor to the Veyron next year, which will also benefit from hybrid technology!

Under its hood will still be the W16 petrol unit , but it will be assisted by two electric motors . The result should be a hard-to-believe 1,500 horsepower, which will be enough to break the speed record held by the Hennessey Venom GT at the time.

Like the current Veyron, the future one will be produced only in a limited number of pieces . Behind-the-scenes sources are talking about 450 units, with only two dozen of the current Veyron's 450 units left to sell.
