McLaren MSO 650S

The McLaren car company recently showed what the MSO 650S model looks like, a limited edition of cars produced by the McLaren Special Operations division.

At first it was supposed to be just a unique design study for a car show in China , but the company decided to make the concept a reality and produced fifty cars similar to the original concept. The MSO Edition sports even more carbon than the standard model, as well as unique side air intakes, a three-piece rear bumper and a more aggressive rear diffuser.

Additional advantages are provided by the lightweight ten-spoke alloy wheels in palladium color, which boast a diamond-cut effect on the inner edge of each spoke. In addition, the wheels should be about 4 kg lighter than those supplied in the standard version, and they are also held in place by light, titanium screws. The interior upholstery is made of carbon black leather and alcantara, and carbon fiber was not spared anywhere. Satin carbon contrasts with the gloss finish of the air vents and dashboard. The fact that this is a limited edition is also revealed by the plaque with the name on the side sills.

Both coupe and spider versions will be available. The first cars are expected by the end of this year.
