The best car in the world has arrived. In just a few days, the new generation of the luxury Mercedes S class will enter selected markets. On that occasion, the automaker decided to produce a limited series, referred to as Edition 1 .
It will differ from the classic "eska" mainly by extra equipment and the "Edition 1" badge. To be specific, the exterior will only get two possible body colors (white metallic or anthracite blue metallic), lights composed of LEDs, a large panoramic roof and "Edition 1" badges.
Inside, Mercedes has prepared seats and door handles upholstered in Nappa leather with white stitching, the upper part of the center console and armrests upholstered in microfiber leather, and illuminated Mercedes logos in the door sills. Of course, the "Edition 1" logo was used here as well. Mercedes humorously placed it almost in the middle of the center console. Also, the interior can only have two colors – blue or beige.
Edition 1 will also improve its equipment. The Air Balance, Ambient Lighting, Parking and Driving Assistance packages are available to you at no additional cost. The base price of the Mercedes S Edition 1 is 19,706 euros (approx. 511,000 CZK) higher than the standard "eska". You can order it now.
