The German company McChip this week presented its package for the super sports Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG , and I will say straight away that this modification is definitely one to watch.
The modification bears the designation MC700 and is mainly characterized by the use of a new mechanically controlled supercharger, a new engine control unit and a Capristo sports exhaust system. These three highlights were enough to boost the output of the 6.2-liter V8 by 80 kW (109 hp) and 120 Nm of torque to a final 500 kW (680 hp) and 770 Nm of torque. However, if that seems to be not enough for someone, McChip will play a little more with the settings of the power unit and increase the output by another 26 hp and 23 Nm.
The basic package costs 69,900 euros (roughly 1.74 million crowns), the other 78,999 euros (roughly 1.97 million crowns). Personally, I think this price is too high, and it doesn't save the fact that the vehicle can boast of almost 700 horsepower already 5 working days after the order.
