And we'll start with some news about the CLS 63 AMG model. The latter offers 557 horsepower, which can be newly transmitted to all wheels using the 4Matic system . A more significant novelty is the introduction of the S version . It offers the same engine as the "base" model, but here expect 585 horsepower. You also cannot choose between two types of drive – there is only four-wheel drive. In addition to the engine, Mercedes improved the steering, shifting and installed the AMG Ride Control chassis for a better driving experience.
And we will stay with the 4Matic drive for a while. It will also appear for the first time in the brand's smallest models – the A, B and CLA classes . In the A-class , the 4Matic drive is combined with a turbocharged two-liter petrol with the designation 250 , which has an output of 211 horsepower. In the CLA sedan , the 4×4 drive will also be combined with a four-cylinder gasoline engine with an output of 211 horsepower. Class B will have a two-liter four-cylinder under the hood with the designation 220 and 184 horsepower in conjunction with all-wheel drive. Sales should start in the summer of this year.
The third European premiere remains the top version of the SLS AMG model with the designation Black Series . It has an atmospheric eight-cylinder under the hood with an output of 631 horsepower. Other changes include new aerodynamic elements of the body, modified brakes or an adaptive chassis. It is also worth noting that the Black Series has lost 70 kg compared to the classic SLS.
Another novelty is the sporty individualization program Sport for the smallest model – class A. It offers an optical package labeled Night , which includes a new front and rear bumper, modified front fascia, eighteen-inch wheels or a sports steering wheel. Technically, the customer can choose a modified chassis or sports brakes. Those who really want to be seen will choose one of the offered body stickers .
The latest news is the luxury version of the Mercedes-Benz Viano , called the Grand Edition Viano Avantgarde . Compared to the classic Vian, it is visually distinguished only by bi-xenon headlights, new paint and nineteen-inch wheels. The interior received leather upholstery, automatic air conditioning for rear passengers and, above all, a pair of sliding side doors, thanks to which you can get to the back seats more easily. A new chassis with an air-suspended rear axle is hidden under the bodywork. There can be two engines under the hood – a weaker 2.2 CDI with a capacity of 163 hp or a stronger six-cylinder 3.0 CDI with a capacity of 225 hp. The basic price of the new model is 49,780 euros (approx. 1,270,000 CZK).
