Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake – super combo from Väth

The German tuner Väth has extensive experience in tuning already powerful Mercedes-Benzes . The company's latest initiative is an appearance and technical package for the stylish CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake station wagon.

Väth already shed light on the basic four-door CLS63 AMG coupe at the beginning of last year , which we did not forget to inform you about. They recently took a stylish variant of the station wagon and the result is crazier than in the case of the four-door sibling.

The modification is intended for older model years, there is no mention anywhere that it is also available for the current MY2014. If not, it will only be a matter of time. However, the basic CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake has a twin-turbocharged 5.5 liter eight-cylinder with a capacity of 525 hp, or 557 hp and 800 Nm with the ordered Performance Package . Väth installed a modified turbo, a new cooling system, a redesigned downpipe system and remapped the ECU on this foundation. The result is a hard-to-understand 846 horses and 1,180 Nm!

With this modification, the car is capable of speeding up to 350 km/h , but nothing comes for free. The reworking of the customer's engine alone will cost 46,172 euros, which is almost 1.2 million crowns! And Väth also offers modification of the car's exterior and interior.

If you choose it, you will get a modified chassis, reduced by 20 millimeters on the front axle and 40 mm on the rear. The wheels wear sports tires measuring 265/30 ZR20 at the front and 305/25 ZR20 at the rear. The braking system has also been strengthened, which includes discs with a diameter of 405 millimeters on the front wheels.

As for the appearance modifications, Väth supplies a carbon spoiler for the front bumper and a diffuser for the rear one, while carbon can also be found in the interior, specifically on the dashboard or door sills. A new steering wheel and modified speedometer alarm are also present here.
