The German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz recently published the base price for what is probably the most beautiful station wagon on the planet – for the CLS Shooting Brake model . Unfortunately, we do not yet know the price for the Czech Republic, but you can guess this year from the price for Great Britain, which starts at 49,360 pounds, which is roughly 1.57 million crowns.
For that price, the customer gets the 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY version with 204 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The seven-speed automatic transmission 7G-TRONIC PLUS , Start/Stop system and combined fuel consumption of 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers with 139 g/kg CO2 emissions certainly cannot be without attention.
However, this basic diesel engine will not be the only one on offer. Customers will be able to choose from four power units from the start. The basic 250 CDI is replaced by the 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY version with 265 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. Consumption in this case reaches a value equal to five liters per hundred kilometers and CO2 emissions of 161 grams per kilometer.
The top of the range will be the CLS 63 AMG with 557 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. If there is someone who is also interested in combined consumption in this case, we have an answer for them as well. In total, a reasonable 8.4 liters per 100 kilometers, although it is clear to everyone that the reality will be completely different.
