McLaren revealed the interior of the P1 model

More and more information is coming to light about the upcoming McLaren P1 , which was presented in the form of a concept last year in Paris . Although the authenticity of some information can be successfully doubted, the first photos of the interior come directly from the automaker.

And they show us that McLaren decided to use a lot of carbon, alcantara and leather. This is especially noticeable on the seats, which each weigh just 10.5 kg and will be adjusted according to the customer's proportions directly at the car factory.

However, carbon must not be missing even on the minimalist center console . However, despite the weight savings, it will offer air conditioning or satellite navigation. The car manufacturer then called the design "the cockpit of a fighter plane".

The driver also gets the chance to touch the Alcantara. The steering wheel is covered with this very material. The look at the digital instrument panel will certainly not please orthodox fans of classic analog alarm clocks. On the other hand, the driver will then feel like he is in Formula 1. As with Formula, the shifting is solved, and only the paddles under the steering wheel will handle it.

We will see the complete form of the serial P1 in Geneva in less than a month. Until then, however, we can certainly look forward to many more guaranteed news.
