Maserati will present two new sports models in 2015!

Italian carmaker Maserati , led by CEO Harald Wester , has confirmed that it plans to launch two sports models in 2015. The first will be a successor to the current GranTurismo model, and the second will be completely new.

The main priority is the aforementioned successor to the GranTurismo and GranCabrio models , about which we know very little information. After all, the boss through styling, Lorenzo Ramaciotti , let his mouth go for a walk and declared that the new model will be smaller than the current one. The successor will most likely be similar in size to the Jaguar XK and will not offer a four-seat coupe, as the automaker wants to free up space for the newly arriving model.

The small two-seater sports car will become a competitor for the Porsche 911 and the Jaguar F-Type . It is not yet officially confirmed, but it should probably carry the GranSport label. According to speculation, it will essentially be an Alfa Romeo 4C only with a trident in the emblem. The carbon chassis and powerful V8 promise a better driving experience than the Porsche 911 Turbo and for less money.
