Maserati Quattroporte gets supercharged six-cylinder and eight-cylinder!

The Italian automaker recently published the first official photos of the new generation Quattroporte . However, Maserati did not provide information on the engine range to the attached images, and this opportunity arose yesterday.

The car company with the trident in its emblem plans to place two completely new power units in the new limousine, which will have an aluminum structure, direct injection or two turbochargers. The "basic" engine will be a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 410 horsepower. It will be transmitted through an eight-speed automatic transmission optionally to all wheels. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes place in 4.9 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 285 km/h.

The second engine for the Quattroporte should be a 3.8 -liter twin-turbo eight-cylinder that will offer 530 horsepower. With this horsepower, it can accelerate in 4.7 seconds and the speedometer stops at 307 km/h.

Maserati has scheduled the world premiere of the Quattroporte at the Detroit Auto Show next January, and we're sure to learn more here.
