I'm not really a fan of tuning because most companies tend to overdo their creations. They certainly have customers, but I prefer more decent modifications, or at least ones that fit the character of the production vehicle. One such case is the Lumma CLR 6 M based on the BMW M6 .
I really like the German designer Lumma Design , because most of his creations are quite pleasing to the eye. However, I have never driven in one, so I cannot judge from a technical point of view. As for the appearance of the Lummy CLR 6 M , the base BMW M6 was equipped with a number of aerodynamic elements . Both bumpers are new, including the rear diffuser and the front spoiler, as well as the sills. On the front hood we find carbon , which also appears on the covers of the exterior mirrors and the perimeter of the kidney panels on the mask. The rear is then dominated by a distinctive wing , also available in a smaller size.
The widened tracks accentuate the custom-designed 21-inch wheels. The new sports exhaust has tailpipes with a diameter of 90 millimeters and can be ordered with a muffler. Lumma Design also worked on the power of the engine, which is given as 560 horsepower in serial form. You can choose one of three stages, when the CLR 6 M produces at least 630 hp , then 640 hp and the maximum is 660 hp .
In the interior, customers will find new Alcantara and leather upholstery and carbon decor. The exterior body kit itself was designed for the top BMW M6 , but it is also applicable to the weaker 650i , 640i and even 640d . The editor does not mention the price in his official press release.
