Lincoln presents the ultra-luxury Black Label program

The luxury branch of the American Ford , the Lincoln car company, has been fighting for survival for a long time. Customers' interest should be attracted by the new ultra-luxury Black Label program , which the brand presented as a concept at a recent event in Pebble Beach.

Since the beginning of the year alone, sales of the Lincoln brand have fallen by 8%, while the entire market has grown by the same percentage. The management of the car company is trying to reverse this negative trend with the new Black Label program , which was presented in California's Pebble Beach through three MKZ sedan concepts and one MKC crossover.

The main idea of the Black Label program is to offer customers unique limited exterior elements of the car, ultra-premium materials and interior processing, and unique sales and after-sales care. Black Label has competition in the world of luxury cars in Germany's Mercedes-Benz Designo and BMW Individual .

Customers of the Black Label program will not be able to freely choose individual interior and exterior colors and materials, but will be offered a choice of three versions. These were presented at Pebble Beach with three MKZ sedan concepts:

Lincoln MKZ Black Label Center Stage (photo in the gallery) is inspired by fashion and theater and is aimed at the more expressive customers. Center Stage combines the car's black exterior with a black interior featuring red headliner and interior detailing, complete with Alcantara -covered surfaces.

Lincoln MKZ Black Label Indulgence (photo in the gallery) is inspired by the allure of premium chocolate, according to the automaker's press release. The brown color of the exterior is complemented by the brown interior with Ziricote wood decor, which is used in the world of luxury yachts.

Lincoln MKZ Black Label Modern Heritage (photo in the gallery) impresses with its white exterior and black-and-white combination in the interior. An interesting element is the wooden decor interspersed with pieces of metal, which creates a gently sparkling effect.

A trio of MKZ sedans at Pebble Beach complemented the MKC Black Label concept (photo in the gallery) without a defined version.

The Black Label program will be applicable to new Lincoln cars, which currently means only the MKZ sedan. The other models will not be available until their new generations. The first customers will be able to purchase the MKZ Black Label sedan at the end of 2014. Prices have not yet been announced.
