Lamborghini produced the 1000th Aventador LP 700-4!

It seems like only a while ago that I saw the first images and also a screaming Richard Hammond behind the wheel of a polished Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 . Time marches inexorably forward and news of the production of the 1000th Aventador comes to us!

After the entire factory staff took a photo with the anniversary car, it was personally handed over to its owner by the Lamborghini president Stephan Winkelmann himself. Architect Hans Scheidecker from Germany also posed with his coveted Argos Orange car.
It took Lamborghini just 15 months to produce 1,000 Aventadors . If we take into account that the same number of the previous Murciélago model was achieved in 29 months, we are reaching an unprecedented progress of the Italian car manufacturer. Anyway, the waiting list is still very long, and if you order the new Aventador right now, you won't be driving for another year and a half.
All that remains is to briefly recall the car. Under the hood is a huge 6.5 liter V12 engine. Maximum power of 515 kW and torque of 650 Nm is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to this, the Aventador has excellent driving characteristics both on the circuit and in normal traffic. The maximum speed is 350 km/h, while the car reaches 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Converted prices start at 6.4 million crowns.
