Koenigsegg will present a supersport with a power:weight ratio of 1:1

We have already informed you about the Koenigsegg One:1 . At that time, it was a unique piece, made at the request of a Chinese customer . However, the Swedish automaker has apparently reassessed its priorities and will offer One:1 to a total of six interested parties !

However, everyone will have to prepare something around 1.4 million dollars (approx. 26,674,000 CZK). Despite the astronomical price, the entire quota of six pieces is sold out. What will surprise you – Koenigsegg will lose money on every car produced and sold! Nevertheless, in the end the loss can be minimized, as some technologies will also be seen in "more common" Swedish super sports .

And what exactly is it about? First of all, the power unit , which has no volume, but the maximum output will be 1400 horsepower . In combination with a weight of 1,400 kg including all fillings, this gives a magical power-to-weight ratio of 1:1 (hence the name One:1). Thanks to this, it will be the fastest car when accelerating to 200, 300 and 400 km/h. When accelerating from 0 to 400 km/h, it even mocks the Bugatti Veyron, which takes 45 seconds, while the Koenigsegg only takes 20 seconds!

In addition to acceleration, the One:1 will also reign supreme in top speed . Where the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition goes 431 km/h, the Koenigsegg will go 450 km/h . However, it is speculated that the top speed will be electronically limited for normal operation.

The first prototype should leave the factory this year, and serial models could follow next year.
