Jaguar F-Type has succeeded, which is proven not only by press tests, various awards, but also by sales success . In the spring of next year, versions with a manual transmission and all-wheel drive will also arrive.
The six-speed manual gearbox comes from the renowned manufacturer ZF and benefits mainly from the light aluminum alloy housing, short shifting paths and tight gear ratios. In addition to the eight-speed automatic, they will offer the F-Type version with 340 hp and the F-Type S with 380 hp in combination with rear-wheel drive. In the interior, in addition to the manual shift lever, there is also a redesigned center console and pedals, which, according to the automaker, are located at an optimal distance from each other. Czech prices start at 1,834,975 crowns for the coupe and 2,033,952 crowns for the roadster.
For the change, the four-wheel drive will only be available in combination with an eight-speed automatic, in the versions of the F-Type S with an output of 380 hp and the F-Type R with an output of 550 hp. However, the four-wheeler will not always be in permanence, but only in case of necessity. In normal mode, all the power is sent to the rear wheels, to which the front wheels are connected via an electronically controlled inter-axle clutch . In addition to the badge on the rear, the design difference is provided by a more bulging hood. Even the F-Type AWD has Czech prices – the coupe starts at 2,424,554 crowns and the roadster at 2,620,991 crowns.
The somewhat sadder news is the end of the 495-horsepower F-Type V8 S version , which will be replaced by the F-Type R in both body styles (for the roadster, it's the first time that "eRko" will be on offer). All models in the range are affected by the replacement of the hydraulic power steering with an electric one, which should save a few grams of CO2 emissions. Standard equipment includes a 770 W Meridian sound system , SiriusXM satellite radio, keyless entry and 14-way electrically adjustable seats. The list of additional equipment for the coupe includes a panoramic roof (standard for the F-Type R) and an electrically operated trunk lid, the F-Type S received a flattened steering wheel and an active exhaust.
