In the defined section No. 1, the tender for off-road vehicles 4×4 for easy and difficult areas, the car manufacturer Hyundai won. On the basis of the victory, it will deliver 150 ix35 SUVs with 4×4 drive with a 2.0 GDI engine to the Police of the Czech Republic during the year.
The vehicles will be manufactured at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech plant in Nošovice exactly according to the specifications of the Police of the Czech Republic, including all required elements of special equipment and police markings. New, more prominent reflective markings will be used on vehicles for the first time.
The Police of the Czech Republic is the largest operator of passenger and commercial vehicles in the country. The new Hyundai ix35 police cars were selected in an open tender, which is part of the project Increasing the capacity of the Czech Police to deal with emergencies (CZ.1.06/3.4.00/26.09654) co-financed by the European Union, the European Fund for Regional Development within the Integrated Operational Program .
