HSV has another interesting car to its credit

The recently announced pickup truck, actually an Australian ute, the HSV GTS Maloo is finally arriving. And it's definitely no ordinary car, because this practical contraption is the world's fastest production pickup truck!

Under its hood, we find a 6.2-liter eight-cylinder LSA with a supercharger of 585 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. The rear wheels are driven via a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual with launch control system, or a 6L90E six-speed automatic . The chassis was tuned for sport, with the possibility of completely turning off the traction, a limited-slip differential and more powerful AP racing brakes with disc diameters of 390 mm at the front and 372 mm at the rear cannot be missing.

The body boasts an aggressive front bumper with LED daytime running lights , a honeycomb grille, a remote-controlled rear body cover, quad exhaust tips and 20-inch wheels . Only two body colors will be offered – Jungle Green and a combination of red and bronze under the label Some Like It Hot .

In the interior, the driver and passenger sit in sports seats , while the driver finds a sports steering wheel and pedals in front of him. On the dashboard, it is worth noting the carbon decorations, which are unfortunately fake. The MyLink multimedia system with GPS navigation or a head-up display is also included in the equipment. Only 250 similar cars will be produced, of which 240 will go to Australia and 10 to New Zealand.
