What could the new Nissan GT-R look like?

We still know very little about the next generation Nissan GT-R . Practically, it could hardly be summed up in the information that it will arrive at the end of 2015 and will most likely have a hybrid powertrain under the hood. Thanks to the Top Speed server , we can now get a better idea of the appearance of the future news.

It will, according to available indications, be strongly inspired by the brand's latest models – the Resonance SUV and the Friend-ME hatchback . In the front part, boomerang-shaped lights should take their place together with a radiator grille, derived from the current generation. In the rear, the motif of the boomerang headlights will also be repeated, the discreet rear spoiler will remain.

There could be a lot going on under the hood. There is speculation about a classic gasoline engine with a stop-start system and cylinder deactivation, patent leaks from this holiday season also suggest that a hybrid version called R-Hybrid is in the works. The latter could be produced in collaboration with Williams and offer high performance combined with low consumption and emissions.
