Honda presented the final form of what we announced about a month ago. Yes, you guessed right. In cooperation with experts from Team Dynamics and Top Gear , they managed to build the fastest lawnmower in the world .
The basis became a quite serial model with the designation HF2620 . However, thanks to the installation of a space frame, new suspension and, above all, a 112-horsepower liter engine from a Honda VTR Firestorm motorcycle , it was possible to create an extraordinary work.
Even so extraordinary that it can boldly compete with the Porsche 911 in acceleration from 0 to 96 km/h. The Mean Mower can do this sprint in 4 seconds and theoretically accelerates to 209 km/h. A six-speed transmission transmits power to all four wheels. To make the machine even more extreme, most of the plastic parts are made of laminate. Thanks to this, this "devil" can boast an output of 532 horses per ton !
If you think that with these modifications the mower has lost the ability to mow your garden, you are very mistaken. There is still a 3 mm thick blade available, which is rotated by two electric motors at up to 4000 rpm! The maximum mowing speed can be up to 24 km/h (double that of the regular HF2620 model).
Cutting grass has never been more fun…
