Henrik Fisker showed a redesigned Aston Vanquish

At one time, Henrik Fisker founded the Fisker car company as a visionary, focusing on the production of Karma plug-in hybrid limousines . Over time, however, the car company got into financial problems and Fisker himself left it before the final collapse. Today, the paths of both entities are different and while the Fisker car company was bought by a Chinese investor and wants to continue producing ecological limousines under the name Elux , Henrik Fisker again started to devote himself to design, i.e. the industry where he started. His latest venture is a rebodied Aston Martin Vanquish for Galpin called simply Thunderbolt .

The novelty, produced so far only in one piece but with the possibility of individual demand directly at the Galpin Aston Martin dealership, sits 15 mm closer to the road compared to the Vanquish, has 21-inch wheels with low-profile tires and a new carbon body look. Although the shape resembles the regular production of the British carmaker, it has a new front fascia, modified roof line and a redesigned rear with an integrated spoiler, LED headlights and a diffuser with dual exhaust tips.

The cabin is decorated with an 11.6-inch curved Panasonic Curved Control display, which is seconded by a Skeleton chronograph in the center console. The leather upholstery comes from the workshops of the Italian furniture company Natuzzi , and there are also two places for a bottle of wine or champagne in the rear armrest.
