Hennessey VR1200 Twin Turbo – 1226 horses on the ass!

Anyone who knows at least a little about cars, and especially those who are not stupid to achieve performance of over 1000 horsepower, will light up when they say the name Hennessey . Of course, this name can make a certain impression even on notorious alcoholics, but we will stick to cars.

It all started when a group of smart guys locked themselves in their "cool house" in Texas , with the aim of breaking down the boundaries again. They took the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe as a base and started to screw the performance to unearthly heights, following the example of the insanity of Steven Tyler's Venom GT Spyder . The seven-liter V8 engine could be boldly used to move continents, here it is additionally boosted by two turbochargers. Then all you had to do was turn the right wheel and achieve an output of 914 kW and a torque of 1500 Nm. Everything is of course sent through the drive shaft to the rear wheels, which lie down in ashes after every reckless start.

It didn't take long for the brilliant output values to arrive. The maximum speed of 389 km/h is not enough for the Veyron , but in everything else, the VR1200 wins. For example, acceleration to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a quarter mile in 10.2 seconds. John Hennessey believes in his new car so much that he wants to pit it against the Bugatti Galibier at the hermetically sealed Volkswagen test circuit in the future . Of course, the representatives of the brand agreed. But before they get the Galibier together, Hennesssey comes up with another incomprehensible craziness.

It only remains to add that this is another exclusive series within the Hennessey portfolio. The VR1200 will be produced in just 12 examples with a price so high that no one prefers to mention it.
