G-Power BMW M6 Bi-Tronik III V2 – Beastly beast

German tuner G-Power has prepared the second version of its tuning program for the current generation BMW M6 . The creation is called G-Power Bi-Tronik III V2 and provides an incredible 710 horses ! We have more information and photos for you.

The tuning company G-Power , based in Autenzell, Germany, probably needs no introduction. It has been operating on the market since 1971 and is currently represented in twenty countries around the world. And it was this company that presented the second version of its modification of the BMW M6 Coupé . We presented the first to you already in November of last year.

The new version of the modification was nicknamed Bi-Tronik III V2 and provides an amazing 710 hp and 890 Nm . This was achieved by remapping the engine control unit ECU, which in the standard version is tuned rather compromisely, mainly for the sake of lower consumption. G-Power doesn't have to make such compromises, so here we have a 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 with 150 hp more power and 210 Nm of torque. With the new values, the adjusted BMW M6 will reach 300 km/h without the slightest problem, and since G-Power considers the acceleration from rest to 100 km/h to be unimportant, it gives a straight acceleration to 200 km/h . This car sprint takes 10.8 seconds .

G-Power did not forget about the protection of the gearbox either, so they played with the overall tuning so that the component does not suffer at such high performance. Of course, the installation of a new titanium exhaust system is also a matter of course, which gives the car a new deep, throaty sound and saves about 12 kilograms compared to the standard one. The system ends with four exhaust tips with a diameter of 100 mm, which can optionally be titanium or carbon .

Stopping this monster on four wheels is ensured by new ceramic brakes with a larger contact surface, longer life and better cooling. G-Power boasts that you don't just tighten their brakes, and in addition, they save roughly 50% of unsprung weight. By the way, the brakes are hidden behind new 21-inch G-Power Hurricane wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 265/30 ZR21 in the front and 305/25 ZR21 in the rear .

The suspension, which G-Power installs completely new called GM6-RS , was not forgotten either. Not only does it give the car better handling and precision, but it also allows the driver to choose from nine preset levels.

Unfortunately, G-Power has not yet announced the official prices of the modification.
