According to newly available information, it looks like the concept of the new S-Class Coupé, codenamed C217, will be presented at the expected Frankfurt Motor Show.
We've seen spy photos of the Mercedes S-Class Coupé countless times, but it's only now that information has surfaced that the concept is heading to Frankfurt. We could expect a serial version at the beginning of next year at the exhibition center in Detroit , and the first ordered pieces could arrive at the owners in March 2014.
The engine palette will most likely be taken over from the classic "eSka", which means that it will specifically be a twin-turbocharged 3.0 -liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 333 horsepower, a 4.7 -liter eight-cylinder engine with 455 horsepower and, last but not least, a 5.5 -liter eight-cylinder doped with two turbos with an output of 593 horsepower. In the future, for example , a Cabrio version should arrive.
