Ferrari Enzo Successor – Less camouflage, more power

It was not so long ago that we published spy shots of the successor to the legendary Ferrari Enzo . Of course, the frenzy around him continues, and although there was a moment of silence, more information has resurfaced.

This time, the Enzo 's successor, which for the time being is called the F70 , was spotted with minimal camouflage. From the pictures it is very clear that the prototype was inspired by the original Maserati MC12 and Ferrari P4 / 5 Competizione . The similarity in both cases is noticeable mainly due to the engine cover and the long front overhang.

As already said, under the hood should appear a forked twelve-cylinder with a volume of 6.2 liters, which will cooperate with an electric motor and the HY-KERS system, known from Formula 1 . Earlier information spoke of an output of around 800 hp, but now we hear about an output of up to 686 kW (933 hp!), which would shoot the F70 from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, even with rear-wheel drive only! However, there is definitely no point in taking any speculation too seriously for now.

Ferrari has only officially commented on a few things, one of which is the use of super-strong carbon fiber for the chassis. Here, too, they were inspired by Formula 1 for the production of a touring car, due to which the new F70 should be lighter than the predecessor Enzo , despite the obvious increase in weight due to the need to use lithium-ion batteries.
