Shortly before the first deliveries, the super sports Porsche 918 Spyder surpasses the standards that have been set for it. Careful tuning and a special Weissach package reducing the car's weight accelerates the model from rest to 100 km/h in just 2.6 s (-0.2 s).
It reaches a speed of two hundred kilometers in 7.2 s (-0.5 s) and reaches the 300 km/h mark in 19.9 s (-2.1 s). The improvements also benefit the all-electric performance of this hybrid super sports car. A pair of electric motors on the front and rear axles can accelerate the 918 Spyder from standstill to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, without producing any emissions. This means an improvement in acceleration compared to the past by seven tenths of a second. With the Weissach package, the all-electric sprint takes just 6.1 seconds.
The 918 Spyder model with the Weissach package currently holds the record for one lap on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring with a time of 6:57 minutes. At the same time, this car shows minimal fuel consumption and emissions, which put it in the energy class A+. With the Weissach package, the standard consumption in the NEDC cycle is 3.0 l/100 km (3.1 l/100 km without it). This corresponds to CO2 emissions of 70 g/km (72 g/km without the Weissach package). The level of fuel consumption in the standardized measurement cycle corresponds to 12.7 kWh/100 km.
