DMC Sovrano 2011 – A slightly different Maserati

Last year, the German tuner DMC introduced the Sovrano 2011 model, which is based on the Maserati Gran Turismo.

The complex modification of the Italian GT begins under the hood, where we will meet a remap control unit and supercharging with a compressor. After this intervention, the eight-cylinder with a content of 4.7 liters produces a maximum power of 434 kW and a torque of 472 Nm. This is an increase of 110 kW and 82 Nm compared to the stock values, which are great values.

On the outside, DMC played with a carbon fiber body kit. This includes a new front bumper with a discreet splitter, a lightweight hood with air inlets and outlets, wide side sills, a wing on the trunk lid and a new rear diffuser. The depicted combination of blue paint and contrasting accessories is pleasant.

The driving characteristics of the car at high speeds are improved both by a functional aerodynamic body kit, and also by a 30 millimeter reduction in ground clearance. She also took on the installation of 20" alloy wheels for the front axle and 21" wheels for the rear axle.

The interior also underwent minor modifications. First of all, the leather upholstery of the door panels and dashboard with decorative stitching, racing aluminum pedals and an ergonomically designed sports steering wheel will attract attention.
