Lexus is developing a series version of the LF-LC, it will probably bear the designation SC

The Japanese car manufacturer Lexus presented a concept study called the LF-LC at last year's Detroit exhibition center, and it is a stylish coupe with a 2+2 interior layout. During March of this year, Lexus itself confirmed that the LF-LC will be produced , and according to a recent report, it looks like it will carry the old-new SC moniker in production form – already used from 1991-2010.

We do not yet have detailed information about the upcoming Lexus SC , but according to Best Car magazine, the new SC should look completely different compared to the generation that ended in 2010. The design of the new sports coupe will understandably be based on the LF-LC concept and it is more or less predicted that in the portfolio of the Lexus brand, we will again see the SC model – this time already in its third generation.

Under the hood, there will likely be a 3.5 -liter hybrid six-cylinder engine with an output of 350 horsepower, as well as a more powerful 4.6 -liter eight-cylinder engine with an output of 500 horsepower. The new generation of Lexus SC should offer the following dimensions – length 4710 mm, width 1920 mm, height 1350 mm and wheelbase 2870 mm. For now, we can only wait for Lexus to announce the date and place of the world premiere.
