The Corvette C7 Stingray is headed to Geneva

The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January, where we learned that it will once again use the Stingray moniker after years. After that, however, no one expected the leak of the first photos , which characterize the open version of the American model. Now speculation has begun about when the Corvette Stingray Convertible will actually be introduced.

According to the latest information or speculation, the premiere of the convertible could take place as early as March at the Geneva exhibition center and it will probably go on sale at the end of the year as MY2014. The following fact also records the debut in Geneva – in 2004, we could see the open version of the Corvette C6 for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show. The attached photos below the article have not been confirmed by Chevrolet, but neither have they been refuted.

Under the hood will also be a 6.2-liter eight-cylinder with a power of 450 horsepower and a torque of 610 Nm. Of course, the choice of transmission will not change either, the menu will include a six-speed automatic and later also a seven-speed manual . So now we just have to wait and see if the premiere will take place in March this year.
