Cadillac XTS presented in Los Angeles

Thanks to the initiative of the Czech representative office and private importers, Cadillac brand cars have been on our market for many years. True, they are not very visible on the roads even nowadays, but thanks to this they maintain a high level of exclusivity.

In connection with the very short time until the gates of the Los Angeles auto show opens, news has come to the world about the presentation of the charming XTS sedan there. It will be put into production next spring and will become a full-fledged rival to the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E Class and Audi A6.

Under the hood of the car will be a six-cylinder engine with a volume of 3.6 liters. The engine, in conjunction with the Hydra-Matic 6T70 six-speed automatic transmission, will offer a maximum output of 224 kW, which will be distributed between the front and rear wheels via a Haldex clutch. A certain amount of fun behind the wheel can also be expected thanks to the electronic limited-slip differential on the rear axle. Customers will appreciate the wide options for setting the car's behavior thanks to the adaptive suspension system with magnetic shock absorption.

The car will come standard with 19" alloy wheels, but there will also be a choice of 20" wheels. The top trim Platinum will then feature a chrome radiator grille with a prominent grille, polished 20" wheels and an interior in a combination of leather and Alcantara. Inside, interested parties can also look forward to the brand new CUE entertainment and information system and a color head up display.
