Cadillac – Vsport versions will become a sub-brand!

The vast majority of premium manufacturers, especially from Europe, have models in their offer that are on the border between classic versions and derivative sports variants. These are intended to fill a gap and offer an alternative to someone who is looking for higher performance but doesn't need outright racing gear. Something similar is also being planned by Cadillac .

The German trio of Audi , Mercedes-Benz and BMW offer the S , AMG package , M Sport or M Performance models, which close the gap between the classic luxury versions and the derivative RS , AMG and M sports variants. The same is true of the British Jaguar with the R models, standing in front of the more powerful RS and the outright racing RS GT . Cadillac is now heading into these waters with its Vsport , which will be the forerunner of sharp Vs.

The Cadillac offer currently features the XTS Vsport model (photo in the gallery), under the hood of which customers will find a twin-turbo V6 with a volume of 3.6 liters and an output of 410 horsepower . The brand anticipates that 10-15% of all XTS sold will leave the factory with the Vsport package. Success is also expected from the newly introduced CTS Vsport (photo in the gallery), which received the same engine, but the output jumped to 420 hp .

Next in the line of Vsport models is expected to be the entry-level ATS sedan, and there is also speculation about an ERL hybrid. But Cadillac 's plans don't end there. The Vsport logo will also receive a number of accessories and accessories. In short, big things are coming, and we're really looking forward to it. What you?
