Bugatti presented another special edition of the Veyron

This week is a very sad one for Bugatti . The title of the fastest car on the planet was officially taken away from his country. The Veyron Super Sport model reached 431 km/h, but the "regular" customer will get a version with a limiter to 415 km/h. Therefore, even the officially registered maximum speed of the model was lowered to the value of the limiter. However, the carmaker is not giving up.

In honor of breaking another speed record, Bugatti will show the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse WRC model in Shanghai. The acronym WRC does not mean racing car, but World Record Car. The open Veyron exceeded the limit of 408.84 km/h , thus setting a new record among open cars.

Eight selected interested parties will then have the opportunity to taste the aura of the winning series of the classic Veyron. Apart from the new brands, however, for their 1.99 million euros (approx. 51 million crowns), they will get absolutely nothing new. Under the hood of the record-breaking and limited-edition car is a 16-cylinder engine with a volume of 7.9 liters and an output of 1200 horsepower.

And how will Bugatti deal with losing the title of the absolute fastest car? Rumor has it that the factory is already working hard on the "superVeyron" .
