BMW is testing the 7 Series facelift on the Nordschleife

In its current form, the BMW 7 Series has been on the market for about 4 years, which is about the time for a light facelift. The camouflaged cars are currently being raced around the Nordschleife to test the quality and driving characteristics typical of the Munich cars.

As you can see in the photos, there really won't be many changes. The front bumper and headlights will undergo restyling , the blinds on the fenders hide a plaque with the motorization designation. With the arrival of the facelift, slightly modified alloy wheels could also appear in the offer.

The biggest change, however, will take place under the hood. Here we will meet a new three-liter diesel six-cylinder triturbo, which was introduced some time ago in M Performance cars. The unit produces a maximum power of 280 kW and 740 Nm, which are values that are fully sufficient for the flagship of the automaker.

In connection with high performance, low fuel consumption plays a role, thanks to the double or mentioned triple turbocharging. Petrol engines should also undergo minor changes, which will add more horses to the herd, and at the same time their appetite will decrease.

The production version of the BMW 7 Series facelift will be revealed later this year. So look forward to more information with us.
