BMW has revealed a slightly updated 6 Series

The complete range of models, including coupe, convertible and four-door coupe, BMW 6 series received an almost invisible facelift . In addition to the standard versions, the top M6 was also modernized, again in three body variants.

Although the press release claims otherwise, the design changes are really minimal and still practically invisible. The front bumper in combination with kidney grilles underwent a slight modification, where there are now only 9 slats instead of 10 . The main headlights are newly composed of LEDs. The body paint palette includes new shades of Glacier Silver, Cashmere Silver, Mediterranean Blue and Melbourne Red. 17-inch wheels are available for six-cylinder models, eight-cylinder models have wheels one inch larger with the option of an extra charge for "twenties". The interior differs practically only in the use of new two-tone leather upholstery and the latest generation head up display. The Bavarian automaker also highlights the inclusion of two new equipment packages Design Pure Experience and Design Pure Excellence.

There is a total of three power units under the hood – a 320-horsepower six-cylinder, a 450-horsepower eight-cylinder, and a 313-horsepower six-cylinder diesel. All three engines work with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission , a sports exhaust system and rear-wheel drive. At the same time, xDrive all-wheel drive is also available for an additional fee.

The M6 does not differ from the standard 6 series in terms of design changes, and it also retains specific elements such as more aggressive bumpers, sill extensions or four exhaust tips. Under the hood we find a 4.4-liter turbocharged eight-cylinder with a power of 560 hp and a torque of 680 Nm. However, if you choose the optional Competition Package, the output jumps to 575 hp.
