BMW launched the M4 Coupé into the world of the Nordschleife

The North Loop of the Nürburgring is a magical place for all car manufacturers who test or have their latest models tested here and then compare individual times with the competition. Most recently, BMW showed off its time, whose M4 coupe was stretched here by Sport Auto magazine .

Horst von Saurma's final time of 7 minutes and 52 seconds is 13 seconds better than the previous E92-generation M3 Coupé , but it is also slower than, for example, the previous M3 GTS or the 2008 Porsche 911 Carrera S. Compared to its direct competitor from GM, the Cadillac CTS-V, however, the M4 Coupé is 7 seconds faster .

Under the hood of the M4 Coupé we find a three-liter six-cylinder gasoline engine with TwinPower Turbo technology , which has a power of 431 horsepower and a torque of 550 Nm. The Bavarian coupe reaches 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 250 km/h, or up to 280 km/h with the optional M Driver's Package. With a weight of 1497 kg, these are not bad values.
