The presentation of the new BMW 6 Series with the nickname Gran Coupe, which took place a few weeks ago at Prague Castle, assured us that this Munich-based carmaker does not have a prettier model in its portfolio. Whether it is a Coupé, Cabrio or the Gran Coupe itself.
And how about building a fourth, practical body variant of the new Šestka ? Moreover, this question is not entirely irrelevant, as the biggest competitor, the Mercedes-Benz CLS, introduced the Shooting Brake version this week and everything indicates that it will be a real big hit.
Moreover, it is not a utopia even for the car company itself. Already in 2010, the 6-Series Shooting Brake concept was created, which had one pair of side doors and was to be officially presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show. In the end, this did not happen and it was dropped from further development.
In the motoring world, however, rumors began this week that BMW is working on a Gran Touring version after all and will present its work in 2014 at the latest. Who knows where the truth is. For now, we can look at computer images of a possible form. And tell yourself, do you like it?
