Bertone remade the Aston Martin Rapide in his own image

Sixty years is a long time, especially when it comes to cooperation in the automotive industry. Just sixty years ago, the Bertone studio established such a long-lasting collaboration with the Aston Martin car company .

As a celebration or let's say a monument to this collaboration, a study was created based on the luxury limousine Aston Martin Rapide . However, Bertone modified the body, added a new strip of rear lights made of LEDs, enlarged the wheels, and the Rapide sedan suddenly turned into a Rapide Shooting Brake !

The interior has a 2+2 configuration , and just by looking at the selected materials, it's clear that you probably won't be able to climb inside in ordinary overalls. However, the utility value is increased by the folding rear seats .

The engine corresponds to the aristocratic origin. The Rapide Shooting Brake is based on the earlier version of the Rapide sedan. This means that under the hood you will find a twelve-cylinder with a power of 477 hp and a maximum torque of 600 Nm.

Although it is a concept, Bertone does not keep it in his collections. After the world premiere in Geneva , this piece will go to a private collector from Great Britain .
